Happy Monday beYOUtiful people! I hope you all keeping warm this winter, I haven’t felt this cold in a while brrr.
So … I have managed to spot another hidden gem in and round my beautiful city this past weekend. This place has been there for years but I guess I just didn’t take the time to go and have a look. Known as 44 Stanley, to some it may look familiar, as it was also known as Rocka Lounge back in the day. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the transformation that had taken place from then to now. This place has so much to offer with coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and many more all under one roof. I couldn’t help but get excited, only because I love experiencing new places. Nate would say to me “You always want to do everything”, which is the truth; I should get paid for visiting new spots (just a thought) lol. What was supposed to be a quick pop in, we couldn’t resist staying for a drink or 2 at L8, owned by 2 Serbian guys. The cafe bar looked very similar to the cafes in Europe (not that I have been but you know what I mean hehe). A Jamaican family stopped us to take their pictures and asked us where we were from because just like them we were doing the tourist thing and taking pics too.Not afraid to say that I am proudly South African and will continue to be like a tourist in my city/country, exploring everything it has to offer.
Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
