HAPPY WOMAN’S Month to all my beYOUtiful readers’ ♥
Last week Nate and I decided to try out this new spot in the Melville area called 27 Boxes that everyone has been raving about. We always or should I say I always want to do everything, Nate just gets dragged along but then he enjoys it more than I do and says it was his idea, hmm (men). 27 Boxes opened recently and is the first retail centre that is made from shipping containers. The boxes were designed for small independent creative entrepreneurs selling anything and everything from clothing, jewelry, food & drinks. To be honest I wasn’t really wowed by the space but what stood out, was the outdoor area, Paul’s homemade ice-cream & the Belgium waffle stall (anything for a sweat treat). For those that are in the area or looking for something to do, try it out because your view may be different to mine.
Keeping it casual, I paired this beautiful knit Mrs Rogero had given me at the swap, with a pair of denim jeans and denim shirt. I tried to force the scarf I was given as well but it was just too hot lol.
So they say changing your hair is as good as a holiday not sure how true that is but tried it anyway, DIY style. I normally dye my hair black but figured I wanted to try something different and dyed it light brown instead. Once my hair was done I wasn’t really impressed, as it only took on the roots and tips, although in the sun it doesn’t look so bad (so A for effort).
DOs & DON’Ts
DOs: If you want to dye your hair, make sure you go to a hairdresser to get great results and have your whole head covered, I learnt the hard way.
DON’Ts: don’t try this at home, DIY does not always work.
Mrs Rogero knit; H&M shirt; MrP jeans; Cotton On boots & sunglasses; River Island bag
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
