One of my most cherished childhood memories growing up was going to the park with my family. It became our ritual, either on a Saturday afternoon or on Sunday after church. I just loved it because it meant that I didn’t have to sit at home, hence always having itchy feet hehe. From what I could remember, we would have our picnic baskets packed with all sorts of goodies, our blankies and off we would go. When getting there we would have lunch and then either take long walks around the lake, feed the ducks or simply just play on the jungle gym and relax. If I had a choice of where to spend most of my days, it would have to be the park. I just love the tranquility of the place; the sound of the water, the birds chirping and the ducks quacking is simply music to my ears. I have been begging Nate for us to visit the park and even tried convincing my sister to have her birthday there but no luck lol. Eventually Nate got tired of my nagging and took me there, thanks babe.
This is definitely one of my HAPPY PLACES ♥
