After sitting and thinking about what to write on today’s post, BEYOU came to mind. Not only has it become my blog name but also representing who I am, by just being myself. In life we learn so many lessons as we grow older but the one true lesson I have learnt was to be myself regardless of my circumstances. There will come a time in our lives where people know of us or really know us personally. As humans it’s so quick for us to judge the next person by their outer appearance or simply by what we hear. I urge each and every one of you that before you judge get to know the person, spend time with them and build relationships because you will be surprised by what we can learn from each other.
After moving back from Dubai I struggled with making new friends, I felt that everyone I met was so clicky and found it so strange because that’s not what I was used to. I thought about so many ways I could fit in but that meant changing who I was and that was not going to happen. I watched an interview of Nicole Nelson the other day and wow was it an inspiring story. A story of her life and the woman she has become today regardless of her situation. I was really inspired by this because it meant that she didn’t change who she was but simply giving her everything to becoming the best that she could be. What I took away from it was that we should never give up on what we are capable of doing. We are all born with a talent or a special gift, all we need to do is to use it. I would like to encourage each and every one of you that you are destined for greatness. Don’t ever think of yourself as a failure. Be You, the man/woman who God has destined you to be.
Always remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life.
I am filled with so much joy knowing that God is with me and that He will never leave me nor forsake me ♥
